The leading community-funded national organisation in Australia supporting and promoting research into the prevention and cure of breast cancer. Snce NBCF was established in 1994, more than $74 million has been awarded to approximately 300 research projects across every state and territory, to improve the health and wellbeing of those affected by breast cancer.
(ADFA) is a not-for profit organisation working to provide support to people living with asbestos related diseases, family members, carers and friends. ADFA is a community based group founded by Trade Unions, victims, families of victims, and concerned citizens to meet the needs of people affected by asbestos related disease and has a long history of being engaged in advocacy work within the Australian community.
They raise funds nationally and distribute them to state, regional and community organisations – the Members – that deliver awareness, education, prevention, support, care and social research programs relating to HIV/AIDS. They coordinate national awareness campaigns that link to national, state and territory fundraising initiatives. Their vision and hope is for an Australia free of HIV transmission, where the rights of those already affected are protected and their special needs met.
The Girls Brigade provides girls from 5 – 18 with an opportunity to learn &earn achievements in a variety of areas such as cooking, life skills and to learn about the Bible. BEAM provides emergency accommodation for families, and individuals who are most in need.
The pre-school based in Richmond, near Sydney, caters for 45 children between the ages of 2 and 6 yeaers old. They raise money to provide more equipment for the children of the preschool.
A child care centre based in Roselands, Sydney. The centre is a long day care centre caring for children aged 2-6 years.
This Baptist Church group in South Western Sydney, fundraise to donate to their own missionaries overseas in Cambodia. The missionaries assist in providing medical aid in orphanages and hospitals.
The Catholic Diocese of Parramatta is made up of 49 parishes. More than 45,000 students attend one of the 83 Catholic schools in the Diocese. As well as nurturing the spiritual lives of the hundreds of thousands of Catholics in its care, the Diocese supports thousands more in the local community. Its Catholic eduaction system and its other agencies and ministries work alongside local people from all walks of life, as well as organisations committed to enhancing the way of life we enjoy in Western Sydney.
Toni’s Dance Academy is located in Camden, Sydney. The Dance Academy is a long established centre. The centre uses fundraising donations to assist in the costs of productions, such as Christmas concerts, each year. The Academy is mindful of the costs to parents and uses the fundraising donations to assist in making dance more affordable to the students of the area.
Newmarch House is an Anglican Retirement Village situated at Kingswood, near Penrith, in Sydney. Fundraising donations from sales will assist to provide for outings and craft activities for the residents of the village.
DSA provides community support and employment services for more than 2000 people with a disability, each year. Fundraising donations will assist DSA to make life a little easier to navigate for the people they support.
Macarthur Evening View Club are a valued part of The Smith Family. View members contribute significant fundraising initiatives and volunteering support to help give disadvantaged children the step up they need through education to achieve their goals as adults. View members support over 600 children through the “Learning for Life” sponsorship program.
The McGrath Foundation was co-founded by Jane and Glenn McGrath after Jane’s initial recovery from breast cancer. The McGrath Foundation raises money to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia and increase breast awareness in young women.
